Fountain of the Vale do Rei (Fárrio)

Located on a private area, but used for many years by the inhabitants of Ribeira do Fárrio, it was built in 1907 by a Vale Travessa miner.

According to Voz da Freixianda, at the beginning of the twentieth century Mr. Joaquim Xavier Pessoa, owner of the Quinta do Fárrio sold their water in Lisbon, at Rua do Ouro. It was analyzed and classified of excellent quality, digestive and with a percentage of salts.
